Thumbs up Project last AE86 chance

well i guess ill start this forum w/ a current build, this maybe the last AE86 we will build and move on what we learn from this chassis to a more modern chassis. first get to know the history of this car, it won the top 3 of 2008 fall finals super gymkhana in willow springs.

1st place on the 4ag battle in willow springs

Just drift events from 2006 to 2008

now a new life will start, Time attack is getting serious and getting faster so will make the car better. motor will be a hybrid 20V 4age from a AE101 Japanese spec w/ a 16V 4age from a AE92 high comp head. 2 weeks ago i just picked up the new head w/ a over size valve.

i was so afraid about my calculations that i will be so wrong that the valves will be so big that it will be touching each other but thank God it didnt

now i just need to put the rest of the TODA valve train kit & cams w/ the ITb's from an AE101 4age

last year i made a kit for forum members who wants a 4 pistons calipers on their AE86, so i design the RX7 4 piston caliper bracket w/ a integra GSR rotors. added w/ a MK1 cressida on a adjustable proportioning valve and a toyota supra MK3 brake master cylinder this AE86 can out break any high end big brake kit.

from what i learned from my other car is RX7's 13B motor has the best oil cooling system so we fitted the AE86 w/ an RX7 oil cooler just like my own oil cooler.

using an oil block and tapping the oil pan we have a free flowing oil cooler, so efficient it cools my oil 30%

suspension coilover is still being debated so no info yet on that but for sure its going to be DIY so stand by on that

this project will be running on 14x11 -23 SSR mesh light weight and wide, tires are still debated but it will be full slicks.

so far this are the parts that will be put in the chassis....
