damn those are some wicked axels

the only steering component i have ever dicked with are tie rod ends and my aftermarket steering wheel lol

yeah they are a little bit heavier but i love the thick wheel bearings this will take a beating and keeps on ticking, again people say its over done cuz, my hp wont even pass 300 but i say is, ill have a peace of mind that i will have reliability on the track.

what i like about this QSR is the rally type steering from lock to lock only takes 2.25 steering wheel turn on a 330mm diameter on a 350mm diameter it takes 2 turn of the steering wheel. again people are asking me why non power steering, again i tell them i like non power steering it gives me better steering feed back vs power steering you can feel a little but on a track car a little is not going to cut it.

i agree i like non power steering cuz i can actually feel the road i can feel when my car tried to understeer and every bump in the road it gives me more control
same reason i like manual transmissions

lol yeah, its going slowly but all in plans i dont want to stitch weld the chassis yet im still making sure all rust in, out, up and under are check. nothing thru and thru right now, just trying to make it one step at a time slowly but surely.

lol thats the last thing ill be worried about, the aim is "if it wont make the car perform better it will not be in this car"... this will not be a power car but a balance car or what they call a momentum car, Its more on cornering vs straight away performance.

its funny cuz we are trying to minimize the wires, i was actually thinking of just doing a side draft carb so it looks clean no wires but i dont know how to mix air and fuel on a carb set up. stand alone is easy as long as the software is in English im fine, i have a friend who adjust carb mixture by smell i cant do it lol hi old school
