First i have to fix the control arm/transmission support. There is a broken off bolt in it, and its held down by a nylon rope at the moment (dont worry, its not being driven until im done building haha).
The things i need to get fixed first are the alarm system and painting the car. Its black right now, but the roof is faded, and the previous owner tried putting a new sun roof in but he failed miserably. So i have to take that out and order a new one..

As far as upgrades go i decided im not getting a turbo kit for this 2.0, going to swap the vr6.

The VW dealership priced one for 5k, but the guy gave me his worker discount so it dropped to 4.4k (nothing beats a brand new engine!).
*Still have to find a transmission for it, dont remember if it comes with one or if its just long block with oil pan*




The biggest thing i want to do to this car, is convert it to an AWD system. I have no ideas or leads on how/where i will get the system, but i figure VR6T & AWD = pwnage on the streets.


Im not rich so i wont be doing it all at once, it will take a while. I figured it would be nice to make some plans written down and try to stick with it.

Im looking at this webpage where a 3.6l vr6 is offered. My concern is, will this fit the same as a 2.8l vr6 (the more common vr6 swap)? Or will i have to get some custom engine mounts etc?

should be the same and i dont think you will need a custom mounts.. they should fit right on.
