Default 89' civic sedan code named the flat black widow (carefull she is deadly)

hey guys i just thought i would sare my sleeper build lol. yeah the car is in rough shape but i work at a shop that has a paint booth and i have access to all the things i will need to bring it back to its glory lol.

here is the history of the car. i bought the car 3 months ago as a project car it had a blown head gasket and needed a thermostat. i bought the car for 400 bucks which i think was a good price. yeah i got more than i bargained for but its ok cuz the price was right. so first thing i did was install a new head gasket and exhaust gasket and i also installed a new thermo. the car runs pretty good now except for the fact that it still smokes alittle and has a rough idel but i think that with a proper tune up it will run like a champ it also needs some new seals like distributor seal and some new orings that go around the spark plug hole lol sorry i cant remember what they are called hahaha its late and ive worked my ass off today so yeah

here is a pic of the car when i first bought it

old gauge cluster

new guage cluster

new eclipse head unit and tsudo shift counter whieghted shift knob

and here are the new wheels that i took off my crx YES THEY ARE retarded THANKS FOR NOTICING

yes its rusted and i dont give a f**k but here is the car before i lower it next week

and here are the cheap ass race seats that will make their way into the car once i fab up some brackets

here is the bay after a front strut bar and yes i know that my intake is not fastend down it is a cai but i just placed it in for fitment

the new plan for the motor is a d15block with a d16a6 head (fully built minus valve job) turbo

and while that is being built i will run my b16 in it which will be fun but single slammer turbo will also be a blast lol

i will add more pictures next week when it gets lowered and i put the rear disc brakes on

i might paint it but probably not because the worse it looks the more i will be underestimated

are talking about color code

oh if i do paint it i was thinking midori green pearl and i cant remember the color code off the top of my head but yeah i love that color

my other choice would be championship white

i should have the new suspension on by tuesday i am about to go start taking it all off my hatch then transfering it all over to the sedan i will update with pics when i get it all off and put on my sedan

to tell you the truth i cant remember but those are also dropzone struts and they are only about a year old so that is why i am using those

and im not using the ones from my crx because
#1 the struts are blown
#2 the springs are starting to sag
#3 the springs offer to much of a drop for my liking on this new car

i should have the rear suspension off my hatch tommorrow as long as i can get the damn bolt loose i worked at it all day today with no success and i will also take off the whole front hub and try to drive the rust off the rotors if it doesnt work oh well i will just get them resurfaced. same with the rear disc conversion from my hatch thanks for all the posts everyone
