By the time I got my 1st digital camera in 1998 the car was already at this starting point, so we'll start form here cause anything older is on oldskool 35mm.

Shorty after getting my delSol the standard I/H/E went on the car.



Then a new powerplant came into the picture and I swapped out the SOHC for a B18C, which did not last long Naturally Aspirated. An RD Racing turbo system was installed by Steven Thompson of Pacific Performance and a long-run friendship begun.

After an unfortunate incident in the rain... she went into the paint shop and emerged the forever classic Honda Championship White. A full Mugen body kit was added along with a Kamaniari wing and color matched wheels finished the clean OEM look I was shooting for.

I then decied to follow Top Fuel's Honda tunning and changed the turbo configuration. The battery was relocated, an MSD iginition system was added a new JetHot coated maninfold was used, Stephen sent the Turbo to be ported and clipped and the B18C was swapped for a B16C out of a Civic Type R.











My 1st magazine appearnce in Super Street, once again leading the Convoy from South Florida to the NOPI Nationals.



And later my photoshoot for Super Street with photographer Jeff Hackman and OG editor Matt Person.





Everything has to come to an end, and so it did. After many memories I sold my beloved Top Fuel inspired delSol in 2001 to purchase a 2001 New Formula Red S2000...

wtf dude how could u sell something that u put so much blood sweat an tears into? i still miss my crx so much that car is what inspired my "in honda we trust" tattoo and will forever be my beloved twinkie lol

i dont understand how people can do so much work to a car that they slaved over for so long to mod to their desire and then sell it to someone else that will probably trash their beloved car i loved that thing to death i never once considered sellin my y49 crx the only reason that i dont still drive it and moddify it further than what i got to is because it was hit by my best friend when he wasnt paying attention to what i was doing and decided to run a stop sign before i even left the stop sign

yes i could have repaired my rex but it was so much money that i didnt have at the time and still dont so i moved on and bought a 90 ef hatch and was going to swap in my b16a but found that the car had been rear ended and was cleverly hidden until i replaced the rear hatch garnish and found the body was mangled so i bought a pos ef sedan that i did suspension and brake upgrades on and before i was able to swap the motor into that i was hit and the motor blew a few days later due to a faulty temp guage that caused me to crack a sleeve and this car was my daily so i bought my accord and sold my swap and all my ef parts so now im at ground zero again

In total over the course of 4 years I spent somewhere in upwards of $45k.
Before I sold the car she put down 293 on the dyno @ 11psi and with my not so good launches, did consistant 12.2 1/4mile passes on drag radials.
