ok just another random idea that you have in the middle of the nght.
choose your favortite brand and then post wheather coonventional or synthetic

right now i like conventional just because my motor is too old for synthetic lol

if im runnin conventional oil its mobile 1 if synthetic its royal purple cuz royal purple kicks ass lol

hahahahaha thats funny
i used to buy castrol h9igh milage gtx until i did one oil change with some of the cleaner to clean out the engine and saw the sludge and said f*** this and i have bpught mobil 1 ever since but i will buy royal purple for the new motor im building well i will after its broken in lol

i buy my oil from wal mart to because they are cheap they have mobil1 clean 5000 for 10 bucks for a 5 qt container

I don't see anything wrong with buying the cheap stuff. It all depends on how often you change it, how often you push the motor to the oil's viscocity level and how much mileage the motor has.

But if you are pushing the car a lot and reving it high, I'd chuck out the extra $$$ for a higher quality oil with a much higher viscocity level. Just to ensure longer life out of the engine.

Keeping in mind that cars with variable valve timing like VTEC, VVTi, and TVC need a lighter weight oil with high viscocity to keep the valvetrain lubed good and sludge free.

get mobil 1 mikey its only 10 bucks at the local wally world and you will have a half qt extra
