Default Throttle body issue

what sup guys, i am looking to clean my honda civic throttle body that i just bought couple months ago. its having a really bad gas pedal problem... its very difficult to press down sometimes. From what I have read online, it could be caused by a very dirty throttle body?

Anyone have a video/pics on how to remove/clean for a honda civic?
any input will be much appreciated

It should be pretty easy! just remove intake

Spray carb cleaner all inside the throttle body, dont over kill it (sometimes, too much isn't good)

Or if you're mechanically inclined, unplug all the sensors and unbolt the entire TB and clean it with carb cleaner, paper towels, and maybe a toothbrush. hope this solve your problem.. keep us update

if its sticking then it is prolly just that the throttle linkage just needs to be cleaned but if your getting bad gas mileage it could be a bad map sensor or maybe faulty vacuum lines. btw the map sensor on most hondas from the 90s is on the top of the tb. oh and if you end up cleaning the throttle linkage on the tb make sure you lightly grease the linkage spring or it will deffinatly stick in the future if not right off the bat. also if you clean the throttle body without taking it off the intake be carefull with the cleaner you use because it can eat the seals
