Default Really Bad Idling Problem...


Hey guys, just have a problem with my car, when is start it to warm it up my car idles like crazy.. it goes up and down what could cause this problem? or is it because the engine still cold?

Please check your intake manifold gasket. spray some throttle body cleaner when its warming up.

sometimes those get little leaks in them and once they warm up it seals it. if the leak is detected there it will be evident in your idle. your iac will not operate correctly if the gasket is leaky. hence once it warms up, your idle stops surging. this is just one of the things it could be. hope this helps.
