| ttech Mod | i must agree using a supra engine would just be a big waste of money i would swap in an ls like a b18a becaue the b18b is higher compression than the b18a and turbo motors are better low compression but good luck let us know what you end up deciding to do

| tTECH newbie | haha..2jzftmfw. Seriously though, i think the 2jz is a bit much for that chassis, bro. you may want to just think about the b18 or even an h22 swap....makes more sense. however, i am not one to discourage anyone when it comes to creative swaps, so if you have any questions regarding 2jz's, i'd be glad to help out.

| tTECH newbie | Also...the thing you want to keep in mind about putting a 2jz into a civic chassis, is that after all the cutting and fabrication and custom welding, etc.....you will have spent enough money to just go out and buy a supra.lol... the 2jz and V160 tranny ALONE weigh twice as much as an H/A engine. i'd stick with a b-series, h-series, or k-series swap. trust me, I might drive a tt supra and all, but im scared titless of some of these turboed civics running around here!

| ttech Mod | just listen to us a 2jzgte would be fun and all but not worth it money wise you could get more out of an h23 vtec swap and it would run 13s bone stock but if you sleeved it and then built + boosted it the right way it would be a force to be recond with

| ttech Mod | being different don't mean its the best way to go, unless your going for a RWD conversion i don't think it will happen. first what FWD tranny will fit a 2JZ on a FWD? If their is a tranny that will fit the 2JZ will it handle that amount of trq? im not trying to discourage you maybe it can be done.
