| tTECH member | First thing you should do is check battery connections and check for corrosion take the connectors off clean the poles and the corners with coke (yes the drink) and a toothbrush reconnect the connectors and try again if that doesn't work then its probably the battery this happened to me i did what i told you and it started right up | ||

| tTECH member | Check to see if your getting fire? Pull a wire from one of the cylinders, put a screw driver in it, lay it across some metal like your frame, and have someone crank it over and see if you see sparks

| tTECH member | Please do! Should be able to help. If it doesn't have fire, it could be your distributer cap, ignition rotor, or the ignition coil. Since you said a water hose ripped off, I'm assuming that has something to do with it. So the distributer would start off as my first guess.

| my first guess would be the ignition coil. i had basically the same problem in my crx and the ignition coil got wet when a hose blew. so like hondaluver said and check for spark. if there isnt spark my best bet would be the coil they go out kinda quick sometimes in the 4th gens but checking your conections and cleaning the terminals on your battery is always a good idea even if there isnt a problem. good luck hope you get it fixed. if not you know we are here =)

| tTECH fan | try pumping some gas with the fuel pump by turnig the ignition to on(listen for the pump to stop) then off and repeat it a couple of times, should start. | ||
