Default Honda b16a2 engine

Hey guys, I just a quick question about b16a2 engine block from a honda civic 2000 SI. Will this bolt right into my 1998 civic SiR? I had a b16a2 engine in my 1998 SiR also.

And also what kind of oil should I run in my engine? Its has some piston work done to it. Just making sure I dont need to run anything special. In my old engine I was running 5w30 castrol fully synthetic.

I think the block from civic 2000 are the same with your current motor. Just make sure the code are the same for B16a2.

Regards about the oil. i would recommend to run with fully synthetic if you have a performance motor other than that. your fine
