ok guys here goes ( i drive a 89 civic sedan )
ok i was putting on suspension about a month ago and the rear passenger side lca bushing rusted to the bolt causing it to destroy the bushing and breaking the bolt in the process
so what i was going to do to fix the problem was to swap over the whole trailing arm brake assembly to my sedan to fix all this so what i did was i took the whole drum apart and then found out that the bushing on my crx was worse
and the car sat for about 3 weeks
in the mean time i swapped in a tilt steering wheel and accidentally hit the brake pedel with my head which caused the little cylender in the backing plate of the drum to pop the seal causing it to leak brake fluid very badly
so i took it to my work and ive been working on it all day cuz im getting it liscenced friday
i installed a whole new drum brake assembly and bleed all the brakes about 18 times and it still has no pressure in the pedal until 3/4 of the way to the floor
so is it a stuck proportioning valve, a bad master, or should i just keep bleeding it?
either way this goes i have the parts cuz i have a good master on my crx that im crushing on sunday and same with the proportioning valve
please let me know your opinion
