Changing Spark Plugs??

This is a discussion on Changing Spark Plugs?? within the All Tech forums, part of the Technicals and Performance category; I am thinking of doing my tune ups myself and wondering if there's any torque specs for the spark plugs? i just dont want to re-do everything.. thanks in advance!! ...

Default Changing Spark Plugs??


I am thinking of doing my tune ups myself and wondering if there's any torque specs for the spark plugs? i just dont want to re-do everything.. thanks in advance!!

there is a spec for them but ill tell you the truth, i have not used it yet.

Just tight them up, it should be fine. What makes you think it is wrong?

Well technically, of course you do. In reality, not really. Just snug them up and you'll be fine.

They shouldn't require a torque of any more than about 25 pounds so don't go reefing on them.

Just snug them up and you're good to go.
