| ttech Super Mod | The first place I would start would be by inspecting the timing belt. If you have never had it changed there is a good chance that the belt has broke or the "cogs" on the back of the belt that grab the pulleys have stripped off. This throws the timing off so it sounds like it wants to run it just wont.

| ttech Mod | What JDM_type said. The oil and battery lights won't go off until the engine is running. When the engine starts normally it happens so fast you usually don't notice the lights since they're only on for a second or two.

| Home boy... | your oil and battery light probably always come on until the engine starts. Is your car getting fuel? is it getting air? is is getting spark? Find which of these things it isn't getting and you will be closer to figuring it out.
