So all of a sudden my car jsut got a bunch of problems, No i dea why. Please help me out!!!

1. car starts then dies right away, but second time will start again and run(heard it might be the camshaft position sensor) but not sure

2. car idles very badly about 700 to 900 rpms

3. When driving, car takes for ever to accelerate, seems like somethings holding back the throttle.

4. tcs off light and the little light showing the car sliding stay on, im not sure if thats a result of another code or not

5. check engine light stays on, hooked it up to a computer and P0288 camshaft sensor came on, i cleared it, started it and it came back on...

please help em out anyone thank you

That sounds like your sensor not starting and dies.

have you done some service on your car? sounds like you need a good tune up! sometimes this can cause the bad idle.

if the code saying you have a bad sensor then i suggest to replace it and this will clear the light and should not turn back on

bryan is so smart =), we narrowed it down to the three sensors, MAF, Throttle body position sensor and the cam shaft position sensor, The cam shaft isnt letting the car starter.. the MAF and the throttle are causing the bad idle.

or camshaft sensor possibly interferring with the idle and acceleration

hopefully when you get the camshaft sensor tomorrow all your problems are gone.. and hopefully you dont have to keep buying sensors. that's weird how all the sensors randomly went like that.. lol

haah yeahh hopefully lol, and yeah very wierd but whatever gets it running good again haha.

so i changed the sensor and the light still is on for the same code.
