Default Honda Ridgeline - Resetting Engine Oil Life indicator

Your dealer will reset the oil life indicator after completing the require maintenance service. You will see Oil life 100% - on the odometer /trip meter display the next time you turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

If maintenance service is done by someone other than your dealer then this will be the procedure of how to reset the maintenance reminder as follows:

1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
2. Press the select button repeatedly until the engine oil life indicator shows up.
3. Press the reset button for about 10 seconds. You will see a main reset message.
4. Select the appropriate answer. Y = yes N= no
5. Select Y=yes and press and hold the reset button again to reset the oil life to 100%

That's it, Your all done.. Hope this help! Got any questions? just ask!
