Default My husband's Camaro

This is my husband's prize possession, his 88 Camaro. Originally built with an LB9 305 700R4, but two winters ago he changed it to a T5 with a 350 from a 1991 police cruiser. It has a complete set of Autometer Competition Gauges, Comp Thumper Cam, Comp Roller Rockers, Edelbrock Headers, 3 inch High Flo Cat, and 3 inch Flowmaster exhaust and has an MSD ignition. Original colour was black and silver. There's still a bit of work to be done (head liner, seat covers etc--mainly cosmetic).

The first picture here was taken before he installed the new hood with a 2 inch Cowl Induction.

And here it is with the new hood (hood isn't painted yet).

I'll upload a better (and completed) picture as soon as I can get it!

lol well this has been his project/summer car. Considering the snowfall and amount of salt/sand they use on the road in the winter here, he won't drive it from September (October if it's nice, but right now doesn't have heat), until April if it's rained a couple times. This past June some S.O.B hit him on his drivers side door to the rear quarter panel. The paint is custom made, so that made not only replacing the door expensive, but painting it too!

it doesn't look like it has a custom paint job on the pic, but yeah paint cost so much.. I hate it! lucky for me I got a friend who paint my car for me at no cost

salt and sand are really bad thats why I rarely drive my civic in winter.. I know this isn't the typical car to keep for winter but id like to take care of it

Civics are nice cars and have tons of potential for improvements. Any car you spend thousands of dollars on is worth babying lol
