Still haven't seen the Maloo, but I can vouch for the awesomeness that is the Liberty =]

Horrible news everyone, looks like my journey with my liberty is over...

Tried to avoid a deer last night cruising home from a photoshoot, ass end slid out and pulled the car off the road. Hit a mud puddled and slid straight into a guard rail doing 90-100km.

Passenger side front is gone, passenger side rear has a fair amount of damage, passenger side front coilover snapped, both passenger side rims are destroyed. Neither passenger side doors will even get close to opening now, boot had to be forced open and wont shut again.

Been hard to hold back the tears. As soon as i saw that guard rail i blacked out and just remembered the day i drove that car out of the showroom back in 2007 with 36km on the clock.

Its now time to do the final battle with insurance then strip the car.

All the blood, sweat and tears that went into that car can't be replaced, but i will never forget all the good, and bad memories that car had given me.

R.I.P XE55IV :(

I was so shocked when I read the tiny things mentioned about it.. When you told me, it was still a shock and sad news :(

But hey, just remember, cars can be replaced, lives can't.. The love and effort that went in to turning that car in to everything it was, is something to always be proud of! But now, it's time to move on to other projects, and just remember this car as a fond memory and be proud of what you accomplished and learned working on it.

All the best Michael!
