The twin loop design that Mugen engineered is for sound resonation. It helps quiet the exhaust while experiencing no exhaust velocity loss. So the exhaust is quieter without loosing power.

But I'd be weary of replica systems. I've heard nightmares about these Chinese and Korean made replicas that blow out the muffler packing or welds crack within months.

When it comes to performance or suspension parts, I don't chance it with the cheap stuff.
