Default Suspect Steals Cop Car, Crashes

This video was captured by the camera on-board a cop car, in Summerville, South Carolina. On Friday, March 13th, 2011, 38 year old Arthur Lee Thompson was stopped by a patrol officer as he was a suspect in a Wal-Mart robbery case. As he got out of his black SUV, Thompson attacked the police officer and stole his cruiser. After a mad chase, Thompson crashed the stolen cop car into the side of a truck.

According to an employee of the robbed store, the suspect hit him and took off in a green Jeep Grand Cherokee. The SUV in this police video could be the car mentioned by the Wal-Mart employee.
