I had the 80GB Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle PS3, but I sold it for cash to buy car parts with. I had purchased it for that game alone, Metal Gear Solid is one of my favorite series, starting back on the Playstation 1. But yeah... I think the X-box is a lot more friend-friendly... if that makes sense. Better community access for playing with groups.

That's what I figured. But yeah it kinda sucks having to pay, I just think the whole interface on xbox is set up a bit better. I can't remember what the party system on PS3 is like... been a while. But, it seems that on this website AND for my friends and, I the ratio of xbox owning to playstation owning friends is far in favor of the box.
