Raiden!!

Can you do a write up for disabling the alarm for a 96 jetta? haha, kinda off topic, but the alarm bothers me. I was able to get the car started after un-hooking/re-hooking up the battery cables.

Actually drove the jetta for the first time, felt so good haha.

Or a write up to remove the resonator?

I could probably do a write up for changing an engine mount (was a pain!) which i had to do last week.

usually if u turn the key in the door lock it would disarm the alarm, also if u hold to one side all the windows go up and the other they all go down

Nah, my alarm wont disarm no matter how you turn the key. Its always armed (common problem in jettas). Im trying to trouble shoot each key cylinder, and find out which one is causing the problem. Them im moving to the trunk to see if the wiring may have gone bad (a few things are cut).

Besides, this jetta doesnt have power windows, and i think its supposed to be power locks, but they none of the other locks unlock when i unlock the drivers door.

then ur wiring is messed up its not the lock i can tell u that much, plus ive had the pleasure of ripping mine apart and the wiring, the ones i didnt have to fix was just horrible, i saw 3 power wires crimped together not covered where they were krimped and right above the radio so it can easily touch the casing of it

You will have to open the under dash and fine the alarms control unit and see if it was fitted by the manufacturer,if you open the driver door panel you will be able to see what servo motors are used to drive the locks. That models was fitted with a vacuum lock system and must have remotes to work it.Before messing with the wiring find out what system is in stalled in the car.
