Default Homemade suction cup camera mount

So I decided that to make my own Suction Cup Rig for a camera.

The Mount is from a Magellen GPS unit. I had already sold the GPS and the pins snapped off the bracket that holds the unit onto the mount. The rig is from an Ambico V0552 Tripod, the locking plate broke so the rig no longer locks onto the tripod. Here I had two separate units that were broken and could no longer be used for their origional purpose. So I decided to mate them together.

1] I used plastic a/b contact cement (can get it at any hardware store, used for pluming) to glue the rig to the GSP bracket.

2] I took my Dremel and notched the bottom of the bracket so that I have access to the locking screw.

3] The cement dried with a grayish finish, so I took a black permanent marker and colored those areas.

4] Today after work I'm going to pass by the hardware store and try to find a small bubble level that I can glue to the front of the swiveling head so that I can level the mount for a good horizon.

Here is a quick testvid I took. Sorry for all the wind noise, its a crappy cam and I forgot to put some tape over the mic The quality is low because I didn't want to test it with my good camera, incase the rig went flying off the car

I already have a camera mount between the roll bars, and I wanted some other angles, cause all my vids look the same
Now with my little invention, I paln on geting multiple angles and editing them together to make some nice vids from the track and from some street spirited driving

Here is a vid from an event I did with the Megan Racing S2000 camera mount:
