DIY: Front-mount Intercooler Install.

I know it's not brain surgery, but you'd be surprised what a pain in the ass it can be, when all your other supra-owner friends have to pay someone else to do it for them, cuz they have more money than Trump's left nut.

Unfortunately, I'm broke, so I decided to do the install myself just for fun, and I love my car too much to put in in someone else's hands...

Firstly, this front end required the removal of a billion and one clips...

Then the stock side-mount intercooler had to come out...

All the factory plastic trim, etc....has to be stripped/removed from the front end and bumper area...

HKS Front-mount ready to go in...

All in all, it took about 8 hours and I probably saved a couple hundred bucks in labor, and only ended up paying $300 for the parts (FMIC and piping and couplers, etc)...which is a bargain if you've ever priced parts for this fucking car, lol)...and because I live in Texas, where the summers stay at 100 degrees for months at a time...you HAVE to have a frontmount if you run boost. It is a necessity.

1) FMIC
2) lots of tools (and a cool neighbor with his own tools for borrowing)
3) jack and jackstands
4) band aids
5) 12-pack of Bud
6) CD player and Zeppelin boxset MANDATORY
7) divorce lawyer
