Default Struts - You think its worth it?

Found a craiglist ad for some struts and shocks.

VW Jetta MK3 struts/shocks

Im trying to upgrade/restore all the parts that i can with the little money ive got, and this sounded like a deal. I did some research and those rear range from 40-80 bucks. Trying to talk him down to about 60 for the front and rear. Just wanted to know if you guys think its worth it.

They are in pretty good shape, im thinking this might also help with the nasty sounds im hearing when i turn to full lock. Still more to come!

Love to hear your feedback!

Well i went and got them today. They are in good shape, a few scuffs that llook like they have been used but they are in decent shape.

My jetta is in my driveway on jacks right now, took me a day to get the whole module that holds the shock and spring together from the car, but now i cant get the spring off the module. Going to have to go get a spring compressor tool.

Was thinking about making a project thread? iono yet.
