Default Coilover noise?

So lately my driver side front coilover has been making a creak type noise when turning at low speeds. It's not blown. The noise is very quiet but it's annoying me as i'm a perfectionist. There is no effect in performance from it either.

Things i've tried.
Readjusting preload.
Greasing/cleaning the pillowball.
Adjusting dampening.
Made sure everything was tight.

Any suggestions or ideas on what it could be?
Oh and the car is a 91 240sx.

Check to see if your tires is slapping your fender.

That's something to check, also i do need an alignment. Would that have anything to do with it?

have you recently changes your wheels? and no, it doesn't relate to your alignment.. if your aligment is out it should not make any noise at all

Oh I was just wondering, I don't think changing the wheels would cause it? it really sounds like its coming from the pillow ball mount. But idk cause its greased like a mofo. haha.

Noise might not be coming from your coilovers.. could be your bushings, ball joint, strut mount (top), swaybar ends or bushings, sub-frame bushings, or it could just be because of the cold making all the rubber on your car shrink. See if you can hear it by bouncing the front of the car, that will at least tell you whether it's the top or bottom of the suspension.

*NOTE: If you replace parts on one side of the suspension/coilovers replace the other side also as it puts more pressure on those parts and it's only a matter of time before they go too.

hope this help...

Is it speed consistent? If it is then it might be the wheel bearing.

I only notice it at low speed parking. Or if i'm completely stopped and turn the wheel.

Have you check your front end? If not, then I suggest you to check it first!
Might not be your coilovers.. Who knows lol

i'd say take it to a respected mechanic and get it diagnosed. if they cant figure it out you shouldn't have to pay them anyway.
