which coilover do you guys suggest?

This is a discussion on which coilover do you guys suggest? within the Wheels - Tires - Suspensions - Brakes forums, part of the Technicals and Performance category; why r coilovers so much better than springs and struts? i still dont get this but i am going to do koni yellow adjustable strusts with some tein springs on ...

why r coilovers so much better than springs and struts? i still dont get this but i am going to do koni yellow adjustable strusts with some tein springs on my next build

Iv'e heard a lot of good reviews on ksport. Depending on your car they might go over your budget but honestly they are the best. Also eibach are pretty good.

I know this is an old thread, but I saw this and can't agree with this recommendation at all. Ksport, D2, Megan, etc are all cheap Taiwanese coils which are not R&D'd properly for specific vehicle applications and in many cases, they will make the ride quality and handling worse than stock. Maybe that's cool if you want to slam your car and don't care about ride quality or even comfort, but expect to bottom out, have to avoid all pot holes/bumps, and don't expect to be able to drive aggressively.

Personally, I'd rather spend a couple hundred bucks more and go for something from Tein or H&R. Or better yet, splurge on Bilstein or KW

I've heard Stance isn't bad either and would probably put them in the same category as Teins but for a much better price.
