Default Break pads wearing unevenly?


Ok guys. my rear brake pads are wearing unevenly. the edge of the outer pads that is closest to the edge of the rotor is wearing faster than the edge closest to the center of the rotor.

Any idea as to whats causing this? thanks for all the help...

hmmm.. maybe the caliper slides are binding and its not allowing calipers to slide in and out smoothly

I haven't gotten the wheel off to take a closer look and pull the caliper off, this is just what I can plainly see at a glance.

so should i change my caliper?

Could be a caliper problem or worn brake caliper hardware. Worn hardware can cause uneven wear.
