Default Does anyone know why The side skirt of a grand prix is always missing?


Everytime I see a grand prix the back side skirt below the passanger door is missing or fell off?On my 2002 grand prix i had to reseal it 3 times already. Any ideas to keep it on?

Instead of fighting that endless battle, maybe you should consider removing all the bodyside cladding? Over the years, automotive journalists have often criticized Pontiac for putting all that plastic crap on so many of their cars, and your Grand Prix might look better without it. Naturally, there'd be some touch-up work involved in that you'd need to clean up/paint over/color match the areas there the plastic had adhered to the sheet-metal.Just a thought.

actually super glue does work. I have a 2002 GP for about 2 1/2 years and I had super glued it about 2 years ago and it hasnt fallen off yet. But its starting to come off again so I'll be adding some more super glue to it soon and hopefully it'll last another 2 years before I have to put more super glue on it.
