I think this question have been answered before, if you just do a little search on the site. You could have find the answer right way, but since we need lots of content then i guess its fine. I believe in my own opinion they both offer you the same sound, If your sitting in the car, the shortram is much louder to hear for that it is closer to you. Cold air will offer you more power but the problem is water. If water goes into your engine, your basically screwed if the car shuts off. You must be carefull. I always prefer short ram.
I hope that answer your question

I think both of them make the same sound, the cold air makes a little more of a better sound, but either way you're removing your old intake and clearing up a lot of space in the engine bay for more echo room ;) it definitely makes everything sound louder.

my weapon r intake right now sits as an SRI with the possibility to adapt to a CAI.. lol. both probably add the same amount of HP. both makes the same noise ish

I like the sound of Cai better, gona be ordering one because i have been using a homemade weapon r short ram attachment thing from my old car. Watched a lot of videos for my car and imo cold air has a much more distinctive/better sound. Plus its sucking in the cold dense air from down near the road instead of the hot air thats in the engine bay. A little more power probably from it. Just gotta worry about the water though...
