Default N00bi3 from N.GA

What's happening guys. I'm Dale from N. Ga (the Winder/Statham area). I'm going on almost 4 years of marriage. I own my own house up here in the Barrow County. I currently drive a Speedway Blue 2009 Toyota Tacoma X-Runner. I have a few stickers but no major mods as I haven't really driven the truck all that much. It just broke the 20k mile barrier last week. My previous ride was a 2003 Mazdaspeed Protege in Spicy Orange. So as you can tell, I'm a guy who likes limited or low production cars and in interesting colors. I'm 27 and I currently work as an On-Site Implementation Manager for ABC Financial, so that means I travel more than I'm home. Since December 1st of last year, I've literally flown an average of 3 times a week. I'm all over the grid too. Just last week, I was in Silver City, NM if you even know where that is.

That's me in a nutshell. Hit me up if you're in the N. Georgia area and want to play some airsoft. I am part of a team who plays quite regularly.

Everything is well. Just chillin' at the house until my next job in Atlanta on Thur.

Is it odd that sometimes I just want to go to the dealerships and test drive new cars for no real reason? I know it's a very "tire kicker" thing to do but it's fun.

I did see it was live. :D Always happy to see my work... hard at work.

Yeah, pretty odd coincidence how it came to be that I got the chance to add to TunedTech but I love the chance to write about not only my hobby (and passion) but I get to showcase my writing as well. Definitely a very cool opportunity!

Wow, this sounds like an amazing member in the making, anyone whose had a mazda is a best friend of mine =p welcome to tunedtech and major mazda enthusiast =p

i had a mazda6 and just recently got a speed 6 last month. loving it. they only made the speed 6 for 2 years (06 and 07) and ive actually seen a blue toyo tacoma locally and i absolutely loved the color of it! its really a nice color

Well we're not done with Mazda's. I owned a 1994 Mazda Protege with Corksport short shifter and a PRM intake. My wife currently drives a 2005 Mazda6i (autotragic).

I actually keep in touch with the current owner of my MSP. One day I'll buy it back. I just don't have the time or resources to keep 4 vehicles, because aside from the Taco and Mazda, I have my late grandmother's 1987 Dodge Colt Vista sitting in the garage.

Story there is that she bought the car back in 87 to tote me around town because her car at the time was too cumbersome to get me in and out of. She had the Colt Vista until the day she passed. It was handed down to me. It only has 101k on the odo but the issue is I let it sit for too long and now it doesn't run. It needs some major surgery but with my job, I'm out and about so much that I barely have time to do anything to it. One day she'll run again though. I've often thought about taking the 4G61 that's in it, and swapping to a 4G63-T. It would take some work and I'd have to swap the auto for a manual but it'd be worth it. That car is so retro baller.





Those are when she actually still ran.

swapping that auto to manual will take most of your time, I believe

Just go get that mazda6 back and spend time and money to that instead :

You misread me, I have an autotragic Mazda6 now. I HAD a Mazdaspeed Protege but that car was falling apart and it became such a money pit especially considering all the money I spent was on repairs and not performance like I wanted it to be. Live and learn I suppose.
