Icon6 My 5th gen Accord in Indonesia

Hi guys,

i'm new to this site and thought i introduce myself real quick. My name's David. Half german, half indonesian. Since i moved down here about 5 years ago, i'm all into japanese cars. My daily is the 97' 5th gen Accord. It was the first car i ever purchased here and i love it. Lot's of memories. I also got an 02' vvti-l Accord and an GT-R34 on drift spec that my friend just totaled last weekend at Sentul Raceway

AAANYWAY.. nice to meet you guys.

I have a f20B SIR motor sitting in the garage.. i want to prep the engine first with all the new goodies which not yet all arrived. I finally decided for a Turbo upgrade as well.. so, there is still a lot to come !

I like the SIR cos it is hard to find down here.. sure the H22 is stronger in terms of the increase of 200 cc, but the torque is slightly better on the SIR. ANYWAY .. the power is almost the same in standard condition so .. and please don't start now a whole discussion about details of those two engines cos .. i already have it in the garage, hahahahaha !

My car just got clipped yesterday on the highway. Couldn't believe it, the rear bumper is mash. The good news is, i just love my insurance. They cleared everything, replace my bumper and also a couple of other things like repainting my front doors, front bumper, mirrors and lips all around. I dropped my ride this morning in the workshop. Let's hope they are doing a good job..
Dun know how long this will take though..

Damn that sucks, but with everything bad there is normally something good that comes out of it hehe.. In your case respray! =p
