Performing turbo upgrade to your vehicle is an easy way to increase its horsepower. However, it is wise to do a small amount of research first. By finding out about others that have installed turbo upgrade on your make and model vehicle, you will save time in researching turbo size.

Turbo size is a consideration when deciding the type of performance to expect from the turbo. A small turbo will reach its top end faster, but will not produce large amounts of power at high RPMs. Conversely, a large turbo will take longer to spool up, but can produce higher amounts of power at greater RPMs. Finally, the size of the turbo should be based on the size of the vehicle’s engine, and that engine’s maximum RPMs.
