In the latest episode of Fifth Gear, Vicki Butler-Henderson puts the Porsche 911 Carrera S in a battle against the Lotus Evora S. The race and comparison test take place on the Assen TT circuit in the Netherlands a place used mainly of motorcycle racing. On paper, the Lotus Evora S and the Porsche 911 Carrera S are very similar.
Porsche's 911 Carrera S develops 340 hp, has a top speed of 180 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. The Lotus Evora S develops 345 hp, can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.8 seconds and has a top speed of 172 mph. So, the 911 is a little slower to 60 mph than the Evora, however, it has a higher top speed. In terms of price, the Porsche 911 Carrera S is 7,270 GBP more expensive than the Lotus Evora S.
