I like the golf also but i think you should wait for the R20 w/ a DSG or cross your finger hope the scirocco R20 w/ a DSG will be sold in Canada. news is here in the US its still not sure if they will be sold here.

I would love to be able to buy an R20 (a.k.a. GTI) but that is 10,000 more then I am capable of spending and so I will have to just stick with the 2.5L Golf w/ DSG :)

I don't really fancy the Scirocco to be honest. I looks good from certain angles but it just isn't for me.

In fact, I actually like the current version of the Rabbit more than the new Golf that is coming so I am kind of just waiting to see when it comes out if I should get a Rabbit or Golf. You can't really decide from a picture though. Right now it looks like the 2010 Golf :)

Ah yes, the MK2. Very good car! They did an episode on Fifth Gear about it didn't they? They suped up the suspension and did a tune up said the car was a BEAST afterwards? I hope to get one, maybe as a project.
