Default 2012 Ford Mustang GTS Revealed

Ford and Shelby Revealed the new 2012 Mustang GTS at New York Auto show, which is a successor to the 2008 GT model. The Ford Shelby GTS will be on sale and buyers will have a choice between two engines, V6 and V8. Ford's new Mustang Shelby GTS V6 will have a 3.7-liter engine while the V8 will hide under its hood a 5.0-liter unit. The power and torque output of the new GTS will be announced at a later date. So are the 0 to 60 mph acceleration time and its top speed.

The development of the Ford Shelby GTS started when the 2011 Mustang was first launched, and involved Ford Racing, Borla, Baer and Shelby American. In comparison to the standard Mustang, the Shelby GTS has an improved suspension system, a higher horsepower output and bigger brakes.
